UK Tooling Support

At C & M Mould Tools Limited we realised many years ago that the flood of tools appearing from the Far East and the continent would not cease. Rather than purchasing tooling direct from the Far East as many other UK toolmakers started to do, we decided to offer a UK facility where tools could be ‘looked after’ for the duration of their working life.

By working with the original toolmakers and keeping complete records of all 3D & 2D tooling data, we have found that we can offer a similar service for repairs and modifications as if the tools had been manufactured in house. We currently have tools in production all over the country which at short notice could be worked on if required, with the tooling information already in place - this saves valuable time in the case of an unforeseen breakdown, as work can start immediately. We offer a 24-hour collection service and are used to working to the strict time constraints within the automotive industry.

Tooling can, if required, be shipped directly to ourselves from the docks for inspection and cleaning prior to forwarding on to the end user. We have developed standard procedures and checklists that will eliminate the usual minor problems that are often associated with imported tooling when being trialled for the first time in the UK.
