Quality

We have been working to the ISO 9001:2008 quality system since 2009 and have used the services of an outside Quality Assurance Consultant to ensure all practices & procedures are kept up to date.

In 2018 we successfully changed over to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The temperature-controlled inspection room comprises of the following:-

• Aberlink TOO 600 CNC Co-ordinate measuring machine
• Tesa Micro-hite
• Mitutoyo PJ302 Profile projector
• Together with a full range of calibrated hand measure equipment

We can produce detailed inspection reports and are able to compare the actual machined 3D item to the theoretical CAD model.

For our Contact Lens customers, to achieve full traceability, we mark all inserts & plates etc with a unique serial number which allows the material certificate, heat treatment certificates together with the measurement reports to be accessed.
