Servicing
We operate a dedicated department to service existing production tooling that have either been manufactured here or elsewhere.
A normal service would involve the following:
- Water flow checks on all cooling circuits
- Thorough cleaning of tool by either Ultra-Sonic or Dry Ice Blasting
- Checking of all items for wear or damage
- Removal of slides & ejection
- Removal of main inserts and local vent inserts
- Assembly
- Water leak test
- Electrical test of micro-switches & hot runner
By discussing with the customer what degree of service is required the costs are kept to a minimum.
